Precision nickel comparator plate compliant with the international standard ISO 8503 for comparative measurement of the surface roughness of grit- and shot-blasted surfaces.

Comparator plates allow surface roughness to be assessed both by touch and visually. They are divided into four sections, each with a different, specified roughness.

Comparator plates are available for both sandblasted and shot-blasted surfaces.
